The three-phase voltage relay SPAU 130 C isintended to be used for overvoltage and undervoltage protection and supervision in distribution substations. The relay can also be used forovervoltage and undervoltage protection of generators, motors and transformers. Generally therelay measures the three phase-to-phase voltagesof the system but it can also be programmed forsingle-phase measurement.The overvoltage stage can be given definite timecharacteristic or inverse time characteristic. Theundervoltage stage features definite time characteristic alone.The operation of the undervoltage stage can beblocked by means of an external control signal.The relay forms a whole including an overvoltage stage, an undervoltage stage as well asflexible trip and alarm functions.
